What would u do if u loved ur ex boyfriend and didnt know if he loved u back but uyau talk every now and then?

We talk every now and then and we will start datin but how would i know if he likes me really or jus using me. i really like this boy and we have dated alot last year and 2 times this year since august 19.What do i do?
