How can i really clean my guitar? I have a problem.?

I pulled my guitar out of its case yesterday and there was gross crap all over it. I looked in the case and there's mouse crap all up where the headstock rests. The little beast crapped all over my guitar and inside the case(Which kinda has black shag carpet almost). My uncle told me to use furniture cleaner on it but how can i really clean my guitar of all this stuff? I want my poor guitar to actualy be clean of it all? Help and suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank You
