Why are yahoo/a users denying the comments were targeting Obama? Stand up and take responsibility!?

I am not denying anything. I did not hear him call Obama by name, he could have just as easily been talking about Carter for all I know. If Obama had any backbone he wouldn't be trying to make an issue out of this. He would stand up and say, yes I did say I would meet with our enemies with no preconditions, admit this is what he said, and quit complaining about people attacking him for it.
