What is the name of that British comedy series?

Ok, here's the thing. I remember watching a British comedy show that I liked very much and found myself laughing all the time, but I don't remember much of the plot. The only thing I remember is that the two main characters are a woman and a gay man. In one of the episodes the gay man meets a man who has scars on his body, and the gay man says he loves men with scars. Later on they have on the table or something. The woman is well ummm the gay man's sister or mother? I don't know. But she dresses terribly and wears gles. I know my description might be chaotic but I hope someone could help me.
